About Verde Safety

Verde Safety helps contractors and small companies across North and South Carolina stay safe, stay compliant, and stay working. We handle the safety and environmental side of the job so you can focus on the build.

The company was founded in 2020 by Edwin Cueva, M.Eng, who holds a master's degree in Safety Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and brings more than a decade of field experience in construction and general industry. That combination — engineering training plus real time on jobsites — shapes how we work: practical fixes that hold up in the field, not paperwork that sits in a binder.

Our work starts with looking honestly at what you already have in place. Risk assessments, jobsite inspections, contractor meetings, and environmental surveys all surface the same kinds of gaps: hazards nobody flagged, compliance items that quietly lapsed, and safety instructions that never reached the crew in a language they understand. Left alone, those gaps turn into injuries, OSHA citations, and environmental fines.

We serve clients from single-crew contractors to regional and national companies, and we work in English and Spanish throughout. Every finding comes back to you with a clear, achievable path to fixing it.
